A Homeric Hymn to Demeter

DJplaeskool - The Kidnap of Persephone // Original // Minimal Drum n' Bass
One to make your head hurt.
Have you ever envisioned what death's conveyance would be.
You know, how does the Hades transport the souls of those lost.
I've always envisioned it at some ghastly locomotive...
so this is kind of a musical representation of that.
The reason this isn't some horrible cacophony of screams is that this details a little excursion retold in one of the Homeric Hymns written in about 600 BC, so it's far from epic. Quite the opposite rather...
In it, it details how, with the graces of Zeus, Hades stole Persephone away to the Underworld whilst she froliced in a Meadow on Olympus.
This is seven minutes of...stuff...per se.
Just what my mental state could conjure of that ride from the god's mountain down the Styx.
Anyways...yeah...so...I should've went to sleep like...three hours ago...
good night.
