A Crystalline Fallacy
Now 0/6 on the final BC.

Last attempt, we wiped at 3%
(PLD/WAR,RNG/WAR,COR/RNG(me),RDM/DRK,SMN/WHM,BLM/WHM)
Seed Crystal managed to Judgement Seed > Blizzaga3 (double stuns resisted) > Judgement Seed and kill our PLD @10%-ish.
Draw In > pwn the rest of us, despite our valiant efforts to hang on.

This is the most frustrating thing I've ever faced in this game.
Yes...
Even more frustrating than going 1/12 on MNK Maat and farming most of my Testaments on the top floor of Oz all those years ago.

I've become a pro at climbing Delk.
Can do the lv cap climb all in about 10-15 minutes now...
(Not surprising though...
Upper Delk used to be my money making spot back in the day)

In conclusion:
F- you SE.

Slow and steady, or zerg it. Like I said before, SE has no concept of "middle" in balance. Although the Fei'Yin BC wasn't too bad, where's the transition from killing shit mobs to the final BC?

Ya Seriously.
I was in a pick up group for the Qu'Bia BC fight and we steamrolled it (though our DRG/BLU got roflpwned by the Seed Goblin's little warp+SA+Gob rush thing). I was on MNK/NIN and just solo'd the Seed Quadav with no problems whatsoever.

As for the last fight, the ones where we've done well, it's been a slow burn. That last attempt was going great until that little one-two punch to the PLD... then it went south as hate was all over me and the RNG...and when the SMN and RDM tried to make a rescue attempt for the PLD and now fallen RNG and both ate a Judgement that was game over.

...I have to agree that there is a complete lack of balance. The really exasperating problem is that this quest line is mostly simple things complicated by the games own mechanics (or maybe just a lack of insight given the absolutely terrible requirments for the opening quests). Then they thrust you into a very difficult and frustrating fight...
